From age 11 I’ve always had a dog in my life, with Labradors and Cocker Spaniels having a special place in my heart ❤️
The bond you have with your dog is unique, and it is my privilege to capture a little of that for you!
So what actually is a Pooch Adventure session?
It’s a good question, I’m glad you asked!
A Pooch Adventure is a 30 minute session designed to capture the special relationship you, and your family, have with your dog, with loads of fun and as little stress as possible. Sessions move at a pace that works best for your dog, which could mean lots of moving around for a younger dog, or going at a more sedate pace for a more senior boy or girl. You will lead the way and I will be very much in the background while you do what you normally do on a walk or out playing with them. I have a fantastic zoom lens which allows me to capture the fun without being a distraction. I will come out of hiding for some fun with your dog, which I will skilfully masquerade as taking close up pics, but really I will just be wanting some pats!
In the course of the session I aim to get a variety of natural shots of both you and your family with your dog, as well as some photos of just the dog. However, you know as well as I do that dogs often have their own ideas and plans, so I will capture what I see rather than trying to get your dog to perform for the camera. If you have an overly enthusiastic dog that runs in crazy circles with a giant stick in his mouth, it’s unlikely we will get calm portraits of him!!
What I can guarantee is that you won’t regret one second of the time you spent capturing this special relationship with your four-legged bestie ❤️
What should I expect during our Pooch Adventure?
While each session is unique to you and your dog, I aim for this in all of them.
30 mins with you and your dog in an agreed location - this might be out and about or at your home.
Time for you and your best boy or girl to get to know me a little and relax into the session.
All the usual fun you get up to when you’re with your pupper - games, toys, splashing, dirt, nothing is off limits!
There will likely be treats (for them) and lots of chat and laughs (for you and me).
Greatly increased levels of serotonin and endorphins through pats, high fives and belly rubs (dog only!)
Cost : £250 including:
30 minutes on location for you and one dog;
A bespoke gallery of images from your session;
15 images to download and keep;
£40 credit to spend in the online gallery store;
Pooch Adventure Sessions are NOT for you if:
You want posed portraits of your dog;
You aren’t up for spontaneity and going with the flow;
You don’t really want to be in the photos.
Pooch Adventure Sessions are for you if:
You love natural, fun-filled photos of your dog;
You’d like some photos of you with your dog;
You want to capture the special bond you have.

FAQs
How do I book a session?

When do I need to pay?
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking. The remainder of your fee is due by the day of the session.
What if I want to bring more than one dog to my session?
Not a problem! However, the more dogs you want to include in the session, the more time we will need to ensure a good variety of photos with each dog.
* Please note, I cannot guarantee a photo of all your dogs, with or without you, sitting nicely and looking at the camera. If this is the kind of photo you are after, I am not the photographer for you.
What is the cost for extra dogs?
Each extra dog costs an additional £50 and will require an extra 10 minutes of session time to ensure I have time to capture all the dogs in the photos. You will also be able to download an extra 3 images of each additional dog from the gallery, so one extra dog would mean 18 downloads, 2 extra dogs gives you 21, and so on. It’s Northern Ireland - what happens if it’s raining?!
Ah, the joys of living in a permanently dampish country! Believe me, this is nothing new to me. I will check in with you a few days before our session and if it looks like the weather is going to spoil our plans we will reschedule the session.
How do I use the £40 credit for the gallery store?
It couldn’t be more simple! When you receive the email with the link to your gallery, you will also receive a gift code for the store. Once in the gallery, click on store, choose the photo/s you want to print or frame as you would in any online photo store. At the checkout, enter the code you received and the £40 will be taken from your total.
